Hey Paul,
I just got back from my reunion with the twins...It was just awesome...Went to Oregon where the twin sis met me at the airport....I knew it was my sister....She has the same exact smile as our other sister....That I went and stayed with for 4 days with Roxanne in Bend, Oregon. We went to the cemetery to see where our mother, and grandmother and great grandmother were buried.I was a basket case when I saw our mothers name. She was only 26 when she died.
Roxeanne and I went through "The Box"...SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO weird to see my life as a child in this box..Tons and Tons of pictures and things..There were a pair of slippers in the box that were mine. SOOOOOOOOOO much stuff. Pictures of us as a family, grandparents, great grandparents, great and great great grandparents. The box was given to Roxeanne by our step -grandmother.It is a chest actually. Wooden. Wonderful treasures. Roxanne and I went to Washington so her and her other sister could reunite... That was a glorious reunion also. The three of us getting together was awesome.
Roxeanne, and I and Sharon NEVER ran out of things to say. Up until the wee hours of the morning..for about three days..We did not get much sleep. After our visit with Sharon was over I went back to see my adopted mother. We went to the beach, and talked about the twins and the adoption. I have been on cloud nine the past three weeks. I will be contacting you soon again.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Terry
