Let's just say BINGO!!! It was my b-mom! She was really happy to hear from me, sounded like. Her husband, daughters, father, even the neighbors knew about me! We exchanged email addresses, I guess we'll see what happens next. Funny thing is, she had a feeling, because when her dad told her that I called him, he mentioned Sweden. Kathleen had been told by the adoption agency that my a-family had ties to Sweden, so I had actually already given myself away!
What a relief, that she didn't hang up, or deny she was my b-mom. She told me I could ask her anything, so I guess b-dad's name will be high on that list.
Anyway, chalk this up to money damn well spent! I could never have guessed this would happen. What is it, like 2 weeks that have passed since we first talked? I'm so happy I took this step, and I'm even happier that you're so good at it!!! Thank you!
