Triad- This is a generic term for the proposed relationship of
adoptee-biological parents-adopted parents. I dislike and
disagree with this label.
The adoptee is the subsequently adopted child of a biological
mother and a biological father. There is only one pair of
biological mother and biological father who are the adoptee's
biological family. This is a fact, with their blood DNA to
prove it. The biological side has their own biological triad,
which does not include the adopted parents at all.
The adopted parents and the adopted child have their own
triad relationship as well. The adopted parents have a
piece of paper (the adoption decree) to prove this fact also,
forming an adopted triad with the adoptee, which excludes
the biological parents as well.
